A Capital Weekend
A dance workshop sponsored by the Washington Branch, RSCDS, usually held the first or second weekend of April, in Maryland.
Scottish Weekend
A dance workshop sponsored by a group of Scottish Country Dancers from the Washington D.C. and Philadelphia area dance groups, held on a weekend in September, at Camp Louse in Cascade, MD.
Argyle Weekend
A dance workshop sponsored by the Northern Virginia Branch, RSCDS, held the first or second weekend of November, in Northern Virginia.

ScubaDance
A combined scuba diving and Scottish Country Dancing trip led by Mel and Ellie Briscoe. If you don't do Scottish dancing, you can still participate and learn it on the spot. Kilts are not required! There are plans for a Scottish dance underwater, in 3 dimensions.

Friday Night Dance at Glen Echo Park
The Friday night dances are brought to you by the Friday Night Dancers, Inc. (a nonprofit, community-based organization) in cooperation with the National Park Service, Montgomery County, and the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture. Dances are held every Friday evening from 8:30-11:00 p.m. in the Spanish Ballroom at Glen Echo Park in Glen Echo, Maryland.
